Prince of Persia Movie Trailer

Prince of Persia is set in medieval Persia, the story of an adventurous prince who teams up with a rival princess to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world. Which is why after the prince was tricked by a dying Vizier to unleash the Sands of Time that turns out to destroy a kingdom and transforms its populace into ferocious demons. In his effort to save his own kingdom and redeem his fatal mistake, it’s up to the prince and the princess to return the sands to the hourglass by using the Dagger of Time, which also gives him a limited control over the flow of time.

Prince of Persia is sure to be one of the best movies this year; for gamer and non-gamers alike.

Friday Night Movie Night, Febuary 4, 2010

Tomorrow is the day you have been looking forward to since Monday morning.  Make sure that you spend your weekend wisely and don’t watch any crappy movies (like Surrogates …).  ThatShowSucks is here to help you understand what is worth your time and your money this upcoming weekend.

    Going to the Theater:

If you want to get out and actually spend money in our current economy here are the top two movies that everyone should see sooner or later (click title to see trailer).

First Choice: Avatar

Close Second: When in Rome

I know that Avatar has been on the list for the past three weeks, but come on, it’s Avatar.  When in Rome took third place in the box office results last week and is a pretty funny show.

Zoolander

    Redbox:

If you are too lazy and don’t feel like going to the theater then here are our two suggestions for you to pick up at your local unnamed movie-disposal box that may or may not be the color red.

First Choice: Zoolander

Close Second: Julie and Julia

Zoolander is one of my personal favorites as far as comedy goes.  I got roped into watching the Julie and Julia film and actually liked it, but I’m warning you, you will finish the movie hungry.

Netflix:

If you can’t even make it to a local rental place or redbox, but have streaming Netflix at home via computer or xbox, then here are a couple of winners for your night.

First Choice: Best in Show

Close Second: The Count of Monte Cristo

Best in show is a witty mockumentary about a dog show.  If you ever had respect for people who take their dogs to these dog shows that will disapear by the end of this film.  The Count of Monte Cristo is hands down one of the best action movies to come out in the past 10 years.

Enjoy the weekend and try to forget the fact that once you get home from work Friday that you only have 40 hours of being awake before you’re back in the office again.

Let us know in the comments section if you plan on or did watch any of these films. Also, any ideas for weekend movie/tv activities are welcome as well.
