Friday Night Movie Night Feb. 25, 2010
| Okay, well I’m a little disappointed in the lack of good movies coming out in the theaters lately. It seems like all the good shows get lumped together and then everything that sucks fills in all the gaps. There is some hope in Netflix and Redbox movies, but honestly, avoid the theaters and save your money. |
Going to the Theater:If you want to get out and actually spend money in our current economy, here are the top two movies that everyone should enjoy if you haven’t seen them already (click title to see trailer). First Choice: Sherlock HolmesClose Second: Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning ThiefAvatar is off the list only because you should have seen it already. Sherlock Holmes is arguably one of the better Robert Downey Jr. Movies. Percy Jackson and the really long title is a great show for kids and adults alike. |
Redbox:If you’re too lazy and don’t feel like going to the theater, then here are our two suggestions for you to pick up at your local unnamed movie-disposal box that may or may not be the color red. First Choice: AnchormanClose Second: Terminator SalvationAnchorman can get a little crude at parts, but it’s a very funny movie. I find myself quoting several lines from the movie pretty regularly. Terminator is a great show for any kind of an action buff. The movie gives guys what they want in a movie without making it unbearable for women to watch too. |

| Have a great weekend and don’t do anything stupid, like watch the Never Ending Story upside down while eating Skittles.
Let us know in the comments section if you plan on or did watch any of these films. Also, any ideas for weekend movie/tv activities are welcome as well. |
