Academy Awards Results
Yesterday was the Academy Awards and what a night it was. The thing that surprised me the most was the vast amount of upsets in the awards. I’m also pretty upset about the fact that Avatar did not win the best picture. I bet it would have won if it had a rating of R on the box. Oh well, I guess it’s all over, but still, The Hurt Locker, come on… You could have at least chosen Blind Side or something else like that. Here is the list of the major academy awards results from last night. We hope you enjoy and complain in the comments section.

Once again, Avatar should have won, hands down. They invented new technology for this movie and it had rad blue people. The storyline was exactly like Fern Gully, but hey, don’t change what ain’t broken, right? I guess I’m just bitter.
The Hurt Locker is about supporting the troops and being patriotic. Avatar is seen as anti American since it hints about occupation for resources and thats what happened in Iraq. Its very obvious that Avatar should have won, there are about 3 billion $$ to prove our point. OK say Avatar didn’t get best motion picture but at least give Cameron best dir, he practically invented and new way of cinematography. Oscars sucks and is politically motivated. And I agree if not Avatar it should have been Blind Side, but as I stated its to make sure the opposite message of what Cameron is trying to convey gets out.
