Don’t be confused; this is not a re-release of the crappy animated film that was in theaters this fall. No, this Nine details the effort made by world-class filmmaker Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) in realizing his latest cinematic vision while simultaneously balancing his relationships with the many passionate and influential women in his life, including his mistress, Carla (Penélope Cruz), and wife, Luisa (Marion Cotillard).

Hasn’t the world been subjected to enough movies like this. There was Moulin Rouge then Chicago, now this? Frankly, I’ve lost respect for Daniel Day-Lewis. I haven’t really seen him in anything since The Last of the Mohicans which is a fantastic movie. Click here to watch the Nine movie trailer:
