The Invention of Lying Movie Review
In a world where no one has ever told a lie, Mark Bellison (Ricky Gervais) is a “snub-nosed” loser who can never seem to catch a break. After being fired from his job, rejected by the girl of his dreams, and placed on the verge of getting evicted and losing it all, he stumbles upon something that has the power to change his life.
The first half of The Invention of Lying, will make you laugh out loud at it’s blunt and canny humor as well as be grateful to live in a world that is not quite so brutally honest. However, it eventually becomes the typical loser turned big shot romantic comedy that we all love to hate. All in all, it’s quite frank, a bit raunchy, yet entertaining and worth the laughs. Take a peek at this clip of The Invention of Lying!

Yeah this movie sucks.
I liked the The Office UK but found myself laughing more at Ricky Gervais than David Brent. He’s just as arrogant in real life, just as fat and just as boring.
