That Show Sucks

It really looks like it, especially in my college city. I drive past 2 blockbusters and a Hollywood video on the way to the freeway and all three are having store closing sales. I thought this might end up happening, but I didn’t think it would be so soon. If you look at how successful Netflix and Redbox are doing right now, there is little question as to why Blockbuster and Hollywood are suffering. For me I would much rather pay a dollar and see the movie that night, than pay seven or so dollars and keep the movie for three days and still only watch it once. Plus I can use that cool machine at the store when I’m getting a Redbox. Even better, for me, than Redbox is Netflix streaming on our 360 at home. What’s better than sitting down, turning on your Xbox, and then having thousands of movies and TV shows at your fingertips.

I hate to say it, but Hollywood and Blockbuster are not going to be around for much longer, but frankly, I’m okay with that.

On Dancing with the Stars, Kate Gosselin proved that her dancing skills are more than lacking. I could ramble on about how bad it was, but I think you should just see for yourself. She does a great job of being a mother of eight, but she has finally found her match. I have to admit, however, that she has a lot of guts for going on that show.

Looks like a decent movie where Nicholas Cage acts just like he does in every other film…
