Daniel Day-Lewis cast as Sherlock Holmes’ Moriarty?

Do we have any Sherlock Holmes fans out there? Well, they’re in for a bit of Sherlock gossip…

It has been rumored that Guy Ritchie, the director of the first detective installment, is seeking out Daniel Day-Lewis to be the evil Professor Moriarty. That’s the man from Last of the Mohicans, Gangs of New York, and the more recent Nine. He is a fine a actor who has won two Oscars, but many are skeptical that he will accept the part.

That is because Day-Lewis has only played in 18 movies since 1982, so he definitely has boundaries. Will he accept and take part in this epic sequel?
