Kung Fu Panda was a hit animated film from Dreamworks that hit theaters a couple years back. Apparently, the idea for Kung Fu Panda did not come from Dreamworks at all!
A Chinese-American screenwriter named Terence Dunn is suing Dreamworks Animation for stealing his ideas and using it in the lovable panda movie. Dunn claims that he went to Dreamworks in 2001 and pitched an idea for a kicking and punching panda who had other fighting animal friends.
Will he get proper restitution for his “stolen idea”. Only the courts can tell.
