The Best 80s Movies Anyone?

I might have been drooling on my sippy cup during the 80s, but I have come to love everything from that decade. The music, the clothing styles, and who could forget…the movies. There have been so many cinema greats that were on top in the 80s (part of Star Wars and the Back to the Future trilogy). So, I’d like to look back at some of the greatest movies of the retro age. Here’s my top 5:

(excluding movies that have went above and beyond the test of time like Back to the Future)

1) Ferris Bueller’s Day Off-one of the best comedies from the 80s. probably on most people’s top 80s list.

2) Dead Poet’s Society-this one barely made the mark (1989). amazing movie with Robin Williams starring.

3) Red Dawn- who wouldn’t like a corny war movie with Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen. Sign me up!

4)Top Gun-big blockbuster, awesome movie.

5) The Karate Kid-It has some corny parts but this is an entertaining flick.

Just give him another year or so before he O.D’s…. then he’ll join the numerous other star’s who died that way. Three day’s after his funeral, Charlie will be overlooked, and the public will be fascinated in tracking the tragic story of the up coming overpaid pop culture icon with a drug and narcissism problem. … I’m glad that we don’t have cable or satellite TV…
